I researched this thoroughly before I bought it. I thought everything would be cool, that the system seeks out the area for open frequencies and locks it in.I ran an event in SF and used these mics. I have no idea what was hitting it, but it was like a POP-POP attack. I did what the troubleshooting manual said:
- I set the gain to high
- I reset the mics several times to change the frequencies. It would work fine..quiet with no interference, then a pop noise, then fine with no interference...then blammo...a massive amount of pops...then quiet.
I took it to a place in the suburbs. I got something similar. The 2.4GHz Range looks like it is not made for wireless mics. That's why you are seeing the price drop on this.
I just returned mine, thank goodness.
