I love this lens! I used it over the weekend for my kids sporting events (soccer and football) as well as a kids birthday party. I left it on manual focus most of the time and with the large focusing ring, it was very easy and quick.

Some of a couple of hundred images came out a little blurry but that's because I need to get familiar with shooting with such a wide aperture. The ones that did come out, which were tack sharp. Great bokeh.

It is heavy, as is to be expected for such a large lends. I used a mono-pod which made shooting much easier.
