This is a solid piece of equipment from Cambridge. I have it hooked up to a Mac Mini Server via the USB input on the back of the unit. The USB port makes this a great amp to hook up directly to a computer with MP3 files. The onboard DAC produces excellent sound from MP3 files and is specifically designed for that purpose, using the USB input. This is not a fancy reciever. It produces clean, clear, powerful sound without a lot of other nonsense that screws up your music. This unit is heavy at 18 pounds, but the case, buttons etc. are all first rate heavy stuff. The little blue lights up front are not too bright, and the remote works any Apple product as well, if you have an iPod docked to the input. Very please with this for the price.
