CEntrance DACmini CX Review

I am happy I purchased this DAC. I've connected it via coax to my OPPO BP-83 and noticed an immediate improvement. My first impression is that the DacMini makes cd's sound more natural, especially with brightly recorded cd's, such as the latest from Creed. The DacMini removed the hard and grainy sound of the vocals and improved the sound of the acoustical guitar that I always found very mechanical sounding. The DacMini really is an amazing DAC right out of the box, I expect it will improve with time as it is allowed "settle in".

**UPDATE** January 9, 2012. After about 100 hours of burn in I sat down to critically listen and noticed it is giving me more of what I heard when it was brand new. I love how natural sounding my music is becoming with this thing. The Centrance sounds very natural, musical and unveiled. It doesn't "add" naturalness, in fact the DAC adds nothing bad to the music; it just skims away any harsh, unnatural sounds, leaving behind clean, pure music. Perhaps this is due to its very low jitter? I'm very pleased with the overall quality of this unit and very happy with the sound.
