I think that the amp market is being taken by these quailiy businesses in China. Most qualiy parts are now manufactured in China. The local cost of quality parts is much much lower in China to local business.

Music played through solid state is like dehydrated food. Music from a TT with (good) cartridge through (good) tubes is the actual 3D performance with all the speed and thunder that SS cannot muster.

This amp with 5998's and ONS Philco JAN SL's instead of the included drivers is well simply awesome awesome awesome. Send the signal through to an AKG 701 headphone.
