I bought this Pro Effects Kit with the Sweet 35 and Edge 80 optics and must say, they have made shooting with my D800 so much more invigorating. As an owner of some great Nikon lenses, including the Trinity, I was pleased that my first non-Nikon lens purchase was fantastic. These optics have surprisingly sharp sweet spots, well beyond my expectations. The fun one can have with these two lenses are endless, especially with the macro attachments (essentially extension tubes). As I was researching Nikon Tilt-Shift lenses at a local camera store, I happened upon the Lensbaby rep and was fortunate enough to demo the Sweet 35 on my D800. After half an hour of experimentation, I fell in love with the Lensbaby system. There is a learning curve, depending upon how familiar one is with composition, manual exposures, manual focusing. The key is bracketing, not only the exposure, but the focus as well. Tilt moderately at first and shoot liberally.

So for the price of less than half of a Nikon 24mm PC-E, I have an infinitely versatile tool that can be used for portraiture, landscape, architecture, macro, special effects, (eg, miniature effects). It's an incredible value. I highly recommend the Lensbaby Pro Effect Kit.
