You got to love Ikelite strobes. This is my third one and it is a strobe for photos and for video. I have a DS125 and DS160.

The Ike strobes have the critical electronics separate from the battery pack. If you fail to put the big O-ring in, it's only the battery that will get toasted. The main and expensive portion of the strobe remains intact.

Will be diving this weekend to try it out. Will update after the trip.
