This speaker is part of an all KEF surround system, which includes Q600 center, Q900 fronts, iQ90BL surrounds and Q300 rears. Driven by Onkyo 709, Oppo 95. The home theater room is 16 feet wide by 25 feet deep.

Speaker ships very well packaged. Instructions are clear (as if you need any) and 5 year warranty registration is enclosed.

I have this unit placed under the TV about 3 feet from rear wall and 2 feet off the ground.

Pros:
The sound is expansive and neutral. There is no coloration that I can discern.
Speaker never seems to struggle to keep up.

Cons:
It's not the prettiest speaker to look at if such things are an issue.
May be too large to fit in some cabinets.

LINEAR AE100 Commercial Telephone EntrySys [ACP00937] Review

I bought this unit to service a 6-unit condo. Mounting and installation were a snap (it helped to have all the wires from the previous system already in place). It literally takes only 7 wires to complete the installation (2 for power, 2 for the relay, 1 for the ground and 2 for the phone line). If possible, I suggest hooking up the wiring and testing the system before mounting it (so you can easily disconnect and return if there's a problem).

The unit has a nice, fairly large 2-line LCD display. Programming is very straightforward, although it cam be somewhat cumbersome entering names using the numeric keypad (this model does not allow programming by computer). Use of the system by visitors is pretty idiot-proof. You just scroll to the desired name and hit he call button.

I love being able to enter the building with an entry code rather than using keys. Most people overlook this feature, but I find it very convenient.

SEI Antebellum Media Console with Electric Fireplace, Black/ Walnut Review

I purchased the off-white media center. It arrived almost a week early, in perfect shape, not one scratch! Its true--its very easy to put together, looks much nicer than I had expected, the fire does actually look somewhat realistic, it throws out a considerable amount of heat (controlled by thermostat), and I love the remote that came with it. Another bonus is that my speakers fit in the side cabinets so I don't have to look at them AND the louvered doors can be left closed without muffling the speaker sound. The height of the unit is perfect too, I no longer have to prop my tv up on a tray. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the weight of my 42 inch Vizio made the top of the console sag in the center. Remedied that problem with the "optional" post, but the ad for this product says the console is idea for 50-Inch flat screen TV which I assume would weigh much more than the 42 inch that I have. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

My existing radio mic had failed me when it rolled off the table onto carpet. This was the 2nd time it had failed and with changes in frequencies within the next couple of years, I had to question whether it was worth paying to have it serviced.
It was quite by chance that I stumbled upon reviews for the Line 6 XD-V75HS. Having read some awesome reviews I had to wonder if such a great sounding mic had made its way to New Zealand. Sure enough I saw it on the website of my store of choice so the very next day I phoned and ordered and had it the next day, 3 days before my next gig. I plugged it into my tc helicon voicelive 2 and was thrilled with the result. My first gig with the XD-V75 I was recovering from a bad cold so didnt want to push my voice...no problem...the mic produced crystal clear vocals without having to strain.
My husband is a professional musician and has always preferred a corded mic (he uses a sennheiser 835) but when he heard this mic for the first time it prompted him to want to try it. He is now recommending to the NZ Army band that they purchase them when time comes to upgrade their existing radio mics.
